Wisun has close to 30 years in the field of corporate advisory, investment banking, and private equity investment. He started his career in 1993 in Corporate Finance and Advisory in Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as AmInvestment Bank Berhad).
He was responsible for advising initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, and fund raising. He joined the KAF Group in 2004 where he was responsible for transforming it from a discount house into a fully licensed investment bank, where he was made head of corporate finance in 2006. In 2011 he co-founded a private equity group with assets under management above RM300m, over a period of 8 years. This entity eventually evolved into the Luminor Financial Holdings Group in 2019 and became listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange where Wisun was CEO and Executive Director. He eventually retired from his executive position and was appointed to the board of Luminor Capital Malaysia, as its chairman and adviser from 2021 to 2023.
Wisun is now CEO and Executive Director of the Well-Cept Group where his past experiences will enable the Group to leverage its resources and put risk capital to work, achieving maximum returns.
Wisun holds a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology Sydney, in New South Wales Australia.
